‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2 spoilers: Finally, some Archie scoop!
While “Once Upon a Time” season 2 has been good to many characters so far this fall, especially new series regulars Meghan Ory (Red) and Colin O’Donoghue (Captain Hook), it has hardly been so great for Raphael Sbarge’s character of Archie. The resident therapist’s role was quietly reduced over the summer, and thus far his only real action has come courtesy of some counseling sessions with Regina (Lana Parrilla).
Thankfully, we are pleased to report that the man otherwise known Jiminy Cricket is getting set to break out into the forefront in the near future; and for more evidence of this, all you have to do is read some new comments from Raphael Sbarge in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly:
“What I can tell you is that there are some pretty big, explosive things coming for Archie, for sure … It’s pretty dramatic — that’s what I’ll say. As far as where it goes from there, I believe the Once Upon a Time scripts and the nuclear launch codes are essentially kept in the same location.”
Will this story somehow involve Archie seeing some new clients in Storybrooke? It’s possible, since there are several characters within the tiny Maine town who are certainly in need of some counseling. As for whether or not these stories will unfold within the final two episodes of 2012 or early next year, that much is still to be seen; but based on what we are hearing now, the fall season will end with a cliffhanger for the ages. (Considering what sort of show this is, would you really have it any other way?)
