ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 2 spoilers: Getting down to business

“Revenge” season 2 was away for a week thanks to the American Music Awards, but on Sunday night it’ll be back for some more juicy Hamptons drama! Unfortunately, the scoop that we have to share here is not for what is coming up in the immediate future; rather, we are looking a little bit farther down the road.

According to a report coming in via E! News, the ABC drama series is currently casting a character of Donna Carlisle, who is described as being a businesswoman from the West Coast who just inherited a business from her father. What does this mean in the context of the show? It’s not entirely clear, but she is looking for investors. The leading candidate here of course has to be Nolan based on his astronomical wealth, but do not be too shocked if somehow some other folks such as the Grayson family find a way to get thrown into the mix.

When “Revenge” does get around to the introduction of this character, let’s hope that the story is a little bit more consistent. Chaotic is easily one of the best ways to describe season 2, as there are so many story threads happening at the moment it’s really difficult to keep track of anything. We know that there are some dark times for Emily coming up in the future, and also that t some point, Jennifer Jason Leigh will return to hopefully create some more interesting moments with Emily, who has yet to reveal herself to her as the real Amanda Clarke.
