‘The Bachelor’: First promo of Sean Lowe (and a girl in a wedding dress)

“The Bachelor” would not be “The Bachelor” without ridiculous introductions, and the first promo for the ABC show’s upcoming season is a pleasant reminder that even though we have been away from the show for some time, everything will start off almost as if we were never away from the show at all.

First things first, we are just going to get the question out of the way that everyone surely wants some sort of answer to: yes, Sean Loqw is shirtless during the video. Can anyone really be that surprised, given that executive producer Mike Fleiss has already promised he will be the “most shirtless ‘Bachelor’ ever”? We are sure that there will be even more of this variety coming up, as you know producers are going to put him continually in environments where he can show off the famous abs to the best of his ability.

As for some of the introductions, the clear standout is a woman who strangely opts to show up to meet Sean in a wedding dress … which to us means only one of two things: she is either insanely desperate to be with someone after being single for a long time, or she is hoping this will be the one thing that sets her apart from many of the other ladies. Sean knows that producers like to set up the contestants to do silly things on the first night, mostly due to the fact that they need these sort of opportunities to craft entertaining stories and memorable moments. We doubt he takes the dress too seriously, even if in real life this would be a massive cue to run the other way.
