‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 5 spoilers: Kurt Sutter promises more bloodshed
With there only being three episodes left in “Sons of Anarchy” season 5, there is not that much time left to scoop anything on the way; thankfully, creator and jack-of-all-trades Kurt Sutter is doing his best to oblige us with everything he can sooner rather than later.
With that in mind, we have another chapter to share in his “WTFSutter” video series that is really built up into two sections: Hurricane Sandy relief and how to help out with that, and some brief teasers at the end about the final episodes of the year. Of course, the video does contain strong language (this is Sutter we’re talking about here, but we figured it best to still throw you a warning anyway).
On the subject of the relief effort, what Sutter gives us is a pretty honest depiction of how the storm is impacting his friends and family back in New Jersey, and he is also critical of the PSA he shot for FX on the subject (though he also said his wife Katey Sagal’s is fantastic). One of the charities that we specifically want to highlight here form the video is StatenStrong.org, which is the charity in part founded by Theo Rossi, who has went back and witnessed some of the devastation in the area first-hand.
Now, for the scoop. Sutter promises that there is going to be plenty more bloodshed in the next three episodes, which are all extended for those of you looking to see more action from Jax and the rest of SAMCRO. Violence is always an important theme on the show, but what makes these final few episodes different is how much of it comes from a deep-seeded place of pain and anger. Those who do not watch this show would be quick to dismiss it as a work of shock value, when in reality this is really more of at portrait of people in troubled times who struggle with power and identity, and often choose to exert themselves on a physical level because they see nowhere else to turn.

I love the show. I’ve cried so many times – seeing the violent death of Opie, Juice’s desperation and attempted suicide, and the tender moment shared by Tara and Unser after his chemo, just to name a few.

I love your show Sons of Anarchy. Best show I’ve ever seen! I think it’s awesome that you are so proactive about the devastation on the East Coast. Kudo’s to you and Katie and Theo. Plz plz plz don’t kill Jax. And keep Otto (You) on too. That scene with Tara was so sweet I cried. Thank You for all your hard work, thanks to all the actors and actresses that make the show so great. God Bless you all and the people on the EC. Tracy
