‘Hart of Dixie’ season 2: First video of McKayla Mulroney!
Next week on “Hart of Dixie,” we are going to meet someone who is bringing a touch of Olympics to the show in McKayla Mulroney. So who will she be playing, and what sort of motivation did she have for joining the show? Luckily, we are now getting an opportunity to find out answers to these questions courtesy of the new video released by The CW.
In the clip, Mulroney says that she is playing the part of one of Rose’s friends, and she also gets an opportunity to show off a little bit of an attitude towards Rachel Bilson’s Zoe, who has in many ways acted as Rose’s mentor off and on since the start of the series. Is it fair to say that the gymnast’s character is … not impressed … with her? Okay, we’re sure that this is a joke Mulroney has heard a million times over at this point.
Luckily, Mulroney seems to have a pretty good sense of humor about the famous facial expression she made during the Summer Games that went viral, and she and some of the other cast members even do it for fun in the clip. She explains that she was a fun of the show even before signing on for the role, and now that she has a gold medal in a sport that has an extremely short career span, one of her dreams is to get into acting. Luckily, The CW is always very good at yielding big names in pop culture these sort of opportunities, as Gabby Douglas has a spot coming up on “The Vampire Diaries.” (Ryan Lochte already made an appearance on “90210.”)
Are you excited to see what Mulroney brings to the show?
