‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: Chord Overstreet, Blake Jenner on ‘Grease’ tribute

Thursday night’s new “Glee” season 4 episode is now only two days away, and it is one that just about everyone associated with the show is excited to see: “Glease.” The much-hyped tribute to “Grease” should be plenty of fun for everyone involved, it should also contain at least a few interesting story elements to push us forward to the end of the fall part of this season.

In preparation for the “Greased Lightning” that is coming our way soon, Fox has released a brand-new preview for the episode featuring none other than their Danny in Ryder Lynn (Blake Jenner) along with some of the other actors featured in the musical including Kevin McHale, Samuel Larsen (who doesn’t get to say anything in the video, either), choreographer Harry Shum Jr., and director Cory Monteith. It’s always nice to hear the enthusiasm coming from the actors’ point of view about the episode, in particular when they were able to get some iconic performances from the musical down pat. Take for instance the car, which Chord Overstreet boasts is the same one from the original “Greased Lightning.”

By the end of this episode, expect there to be some movement when it comes to the new Marley / Jake / Ryder love triangle, and also a little bit more development from New York City. After a week off in order to focus primarily on life at McKinley High and getting this musical together, the Big Apple will return in fine fashion this week courtesy of more conflict between Rachel Berry and Cassandra July.
