‘The Good Wife’ season 4 spoilers: ‘Go On’s’ Matthew Perry poised to return
Even though NBC has already given his show “Go On” a full season, Matthew Perry is apparently still somehow finding enough space in his busy schedule to stop by “The Good Wife” season 4 for a guest appearance. Considering how important that his character of Mike Kresteva was to the show at the end of last season, it is news that is very much appreciated.
CBS confirmed the casting on Friday, and also said that Perry will make his appearance in an episode airing at some point early next year. The other cool thing about this appearance is that it already shows that Universal TV is being flexible with his schedule, which is something that they did not have to be given how much of a commitment “Go On” is to his schedule.
This casting news could also mean a sign of hope for Michael J. Fox. Although he is already confirmed to be reprising his role as Louis Canning at least one more time on the show, Fox has a deal for a full season over at NBC that is going to take up most of his time next year. However, if Perry can cross over than it is possible he could do the same depending on scheduling and finding the right time for his role to turn up.
After a two-week delay brought on by Hurricane Sandy and the Presidential election, “Go On” will actually be airing its Halloween episode on Tuesday night. Meanwhile, “The Good Wife” season 4 continues to air Sunday nights on CBS.
Are you thrilled to see Perry’s return, especially given the difference of material between this show and what he does over on NBC?
