‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4 spoilers: More Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley scoop

“The Vampire Diaries” season 4 started out with Stefan and Elena together … but it’s starting to look as though it may not end that way. Thanks to some philosophical differences (and Stefan’s own status as a ripper making it rather hard to really help Elena out at all), the two are inevitably growing apart; and to make matters worse, Nina Dobrev’s character is actually going to be spending some more time with Ian Somerhalder’s Damon.

So what will this lead to during Thursday night’s new episode “The Killer”? According to a new report from Zap2It, It means that we are actually going to see the return of the “Diaries” mentioned in the title, which is rather nice mostly in that they have made their presence or less a non-factor for this season so far. Stefan and Elena are going to turn to writing in order to express their feelings, which they are having some trouble doing with each other.

So how much longer will there be trouble in paradise here? Unfortunately, “Stelena” fans are soon to find out that things are going to get far worse here before they get better. Elena is not used to being a vampire yet, and Damon having the capacity to teach her more about how to feed than a reformed ripper is going to draw the two of them closer together. Oh, and there’s also the fact that Elena now knows just how he feels about her, which is something she was not privy to when she initially chose to be with Paul Wesley’s character.

Do you think there is a chance that Stefan and Elena will end up getting as close as they once were this season?
