ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 5 spoilers: All about rock n’ roll (video)

“Castle” season 5 brought us a touch of humor with its sci-fi episode “The Final Frontier” on Monday, and based on the first promo for the episode airing next week in “Swan Song,” it looks as though we could be delightfully seeing so much more of the same thing … except this time via the world of rock music.

As you can see in the promo video below, Castle and Beckett are going to be dragged into what appears to be one of those music documentaries that really chronicles the journey of a band; though in this occasion, they may also be chronicling a murder investigation. Beckett in particular does not seem all too thrilled at being on-camera, though Castle can probably help her out here courtesy of some of his extensive experience being in front of the camera (though hardly in the same sort of context).

Do we expect something serious to be coming up on this show soon? Probably, since we have witnessed at this point a few more comedic episodes in a row. This is also the November sweeps, which is the time in which the majority of shows like to reveal some of their biggest secrets to viewers (or at least leave their jaws hanging on the floor). As for some of the other episodes coming up this year, we will see an episode themed around the mob, and also some sort of Christmas special that should allow us to get into the holiday spirit.
