Outlander season 5: New Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe video bonanza

Outlander season 5Outlander season 5 is premiering on Starz this weekend, and it goes without saying that the press tour is in FULL gear. There are interviews all over the place, but for the sake of this article, we’re going to spotlight a few of them that are rather notable.

Want some more Outlander video discussion? Then watch some of our recent trailer analysis below! After you do just that, remember to subscribe to CarterMatt on YouTube and then also view our full show playlist. We’re going to have more updates for you all season long and you don’t want to miss those.

Let’s start things off here with the Facebook Live Q&A that took place today, mostly because we do consider this one to be personally one of the most enjoyable. Within this one, you can hear Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe, Sophie Skelton, and Richard Rankin go through

There is one little tidbit within this video that is rather sad, in the event that you didn’t know already — acclaimed set designer Jon Gary Steele won’t be a part of the upcoming seasons, and that’s a shame. His work is extraordinary, and he is one of the greatest artists behind the scenes who will never receive his proper due.

Meanwhile, how about a couple more video interviews, as well? There is an appearance from Heughan and Balfe on Good Morning America this morning, plus also a new video interview with much of the cast per Entertainment Tonight. For those wondering as to why certain outlets are chosen for these press tours, the best response we can offer is this — Starz is targeting places that fit within the show’s standard demographic, and they’re also looking to recruit viewers who may not be watched already. They aired an ad during The Bachelor last night, and a number of big features have come lately in publications such as Vogue. The series already has a big audience, but they are understandably looking to expand this out further.

There’s going to be a lot more coverage leading into the season 5 premiere of Outlander this weekend, so rest assured, we’ll be breaking some stuff down again soon. For now, happy viewing all of this good stuff!
