Election 2012 on TV: Want a live stream?
When it comes to new television on Tuesday night, we may as well be honest here: there’s not too much when it comes to programming. Save for some cable shows like “Sons of Anarchy” and “Ink Master,” the past majority of new series have been pushed back in order to accommodate one thing: the Presidential Election.
So where can you watch it? The answer here is “pretty much anywhere,” but just in case you are either visiting this site internationally or somewhere without a TV, we have your hookup right here courtesy of some broadcast networks in ABC, NBC, and CBS. (Sorry, CNN fans: there’s nothing to share at this time.) The polls are just starting to close and the results are coming in, so these will be increasingly valuable as the night progresses. Based on some early results, it does appear as though we could be in for a very long night of television … and not the kind with a laugh track or a cliffhanger pending a stunning end.
As we have tried to stress time and time again on this day, our goal today is to not enforce a political opinion on anyone, but rather show some of the best TV-related highlights from the big day. Stay tuned all night, as we’ll have everything from reactions to the voting process from celebrities to some highlights when it comes to various talk shows. “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” will be live at its usual time, and we will have full highlights from this broadcast when it airs.
