‘Homeland’ season 2 spoilers: Brody and Carrie’s next meeting
As we showed you in the first sneak peek for Sunday night’s new episode of “Homeland” season 2, we are going to see Saul question whether or not Carrie is really going to be able to handle being around Brody for an extended period of time. Well, let’s just say now that we are going to find out pretty quickly, as she will be thrown into the fire almost right away with her mission.
In the latest sneak peek from the episode (entitled “A Gettysburg Address”), Brody arrives at the meeting point (where the man who stabbed his hand in Quinn is also present) to receive some further instructions. So what is particularly notable about this conversation here? In addition to Carrie still coming across as somewhat nervous around him, Brody admits to telling Jess that he is doing some work with the CIA. However, he also says that she asked him if Carrie was involved in it, and he said no.
The real question that will probably both plague Carrie and most of the other characters for the next few weeks is just if he is telling the truth at all when it comes to his intentions to actually lend a helping hand in the capture of Abu Nazir. If it does happen, then he is probably going to somehow regain the trust of everyone who was once hunting him. However, there is going to be something that Brody does during this episode that makes everyone close to him start to question some of his actions all over again.
How long do you think this new new arrangement will last moving forward on “Homeland” season 2? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below!
