‘Dexter’ season 7 spoilers: A not-so-merry Christmas
“Dexter” season 7 thus far has been packed with heat and intensity … so why not settle things down a little bit courtesy of a dose of the holiday season? Being that we learned recently that the finale this year was going to be taking place on New Year’s Eve, it should not come as a shock that we are going to see plenty of Christmas spirit during the new episode airing on Sunday night.
For a look at that, just check out the photo to the left, which features none other than Hannah McKay (Yvonne Strahovski) standing in front of what looks to be the sort of over-the-top Christmas display that you typically see at a shopping mall. There’s no Santa Claus here (at least not yet), but there is an enormous nutcracker!
You can also read quite a bit into the facial expressions here, as Hannah appears to be blissfully unaware as to Dexter’s true nature, and possibly even thinks that she is on some sort of romantic date with the guy. After all, Dexter said he wants to get closer to her in an effort to find out a little bit more about who she really is. We’re not sure just how long he is going to be able to keep this charade going where he pretends to be interested in her, but we are sure he will try for as long as possible. Of course, there are two problems when it comes to using this strategy: he either ends up developing feelings for her (or at least relates to her as he did Trinity for a time), or he finds out that she really has been reformed and the whole notion of whether or not someone like him can changed is turned completely on its head.
Are you ready to see Christmas in Miami?
