The Resident season 3 episode 10 spoilers: Dr. Bell’s frustrations

The Resident season 3 fall finale is going to be airing on Fox this Tuesday, and we know that Dr. Bell is at his tipping point. Why is that? Well, it has a good bit to do with some of the frustrations he is feeling over Dr. Barrett Cain, and for good reason … a lot of good reasons. He’s rising through the ranks at Red Rock, and he’s got a lot of the board wrapped around his finger.

In the sneak peek below via HollywoodLife, you can see Bell doing whatever he can to at least ensure one thing: That Kit is okay. He doesn’t want anything to happen to her amidst an upcoming battle with Cain. He knows that there could be trouble for her depending on some of the decisions that he makes, and there could be a ripple effect. Yet, he also feels like he’s going to be okay because of his contract. If it wasn’t so ironclad, he’d probably be in trouble already.

One of the things that we’re left to wonder at the moment is simply this: Just how far is this story going to go? How much more conflict can Chastain handle? We envision a scenario where all of these doctors are forced to work under Cain, but it’s going to be difficult with him trying to take all of the glory … and also doing some improper things in order to ensure that he continues to have that.

Will we see him taken down in the finale? We’ll see maybe a component of that in the fall finale, but the important thing to remember is this: The Resident is a medical drama first and foremost. It’s not going to throw some of his current focus under the bus in order to turn into a battle just between doctors. There are still patients and other issues to be dealt with. Also, Conrad and Devon could be gearing up for exciting times at the hospital, as well!
