Outlander video: Celebrate Christmas with Fraser’s Ridge Yule log!

Leading into the premiere of Outlander season 5 in the new year, Starz is continuing to come up with unique promotions. We know that a new sneak peek will be showcased during a marathon next weekend; for now, though, we have a Yule log to be excited about right now!

If you look HERE, you can get a fairly good sense of some of what we’re talking about! The production/the network has found a way in order to create an hour-long spectacle set all around Fraser’s Ridge, featuring a fireplace, some wonderful décor, and perhaps the most wonderful of feline visitors, as well — Adso. The cat sticks around for at least the first several minutes of the video, and this is the closest to the first real footage we’re getting a chance to see from the upcoming season. (Sure, we know that it’s not actual footage, but still — it’s warm and charming and welcoming.)

If you love the music from Outlander, then you’ll also be pleased to know that there is a wonderful assemblage of tracks from the show featured here. That should help to make the fire all the more comforting, and also leave you excited for some of what’s coming up next.

While an hour-long Yule log isn’t going to be something that everyone loves, we love that Starz is getting creative in thinking of ways to spotlight Outlander this time of year. We also love that the show put this out nice and early this time for a lot of people to be able to enjoy it. After all, this is the perfect sort of thing to have on while you are wrapping gifts, or preparing for some sort of big, elaborate Christmas party.

Remember, Outlander season 5 will premiere officially when we get around to Sunday, February 16 on Starz.
