Blue Bloods season 10 episode 10 sneak peek: Tension over a list?

Coming up tonight Blue Bloods season 10 episode 10 is going to air, and what that means is a chance to see an array of exciting new stories — but also some additional tension for Jamie and Eddie at the same time.

In the sneak peek, you can get a reasonable sense of this from Jamie and Eddie. It’s also a reminder of the incredibly-difficult schedule that the two of them have. Jamie is in a position at the moment where he is working during the day, whereas his wife is working at night. They barely get a chance in order to see each other! The stress of the job and the schedule are taking a huge toll, and it means that even emotionally, the two cannot get on the same page anymore.

Then, there’s the list — it’s a list of things that she wants his help with, and you can see that she’s afraid to give it to him since it’s going to cause a problem. Yet, it ends up happening and his reaction more or less speaks for itself. He’s not trying to be mad, but he does still have a clear reaction. Throughout this episode, we imagine that this will be a focal point to the Jamie-Eddie conflict.

For the record, we don’t think that Eddie does anything wrong here — she’s trying to be sympathetic towards Jamie’s feelings, but he’s just not in a spot where he can mentally handle it. This may just be one of those situations that just happens if the two continue to work separate shifts. As we discuss in the aforementioned video below, we understand that Blue Bloods after tries to go for realism in their storytelling … but we wouldn’t mind if they found a way to bring Jamko closer together at work.
