Is God Friended Me new tonight on CBS? What to expect next
Let’s go ahead and get the bad news out of the way — there is no new episode tonight. What’s the reason for that? It mostly has to do with the network airing a 60 Minutes special in its place. That’s sad news to digest given the fact that this is a show that left off on a pretty significant cliffhanger, at least in terms of some of what was going on in regards to Miles’ life. He and Cara just went through an incredibly tough time following what happened with her stepfather (seemingly) going to prison — she feels as though he chose the God Account over her. This is the thing that brought the two of them together, but it could very well prove to be the thing that ends up tearing the two apart.
What Miles should be worried about now is the idea that the God Account may force him to choose between his relationship and continuing to do it — a position that he learned a little bit more about courtesy of Gideon a couple of weeks back. We like to think that he’d choose Cara, but he also may not have to choose at all. Miles is not Gideon, and we are a point where nothing may be quite as it seems. We’ve come to know many different things about God Friended Me, with one of the biggest ones being that not everything is as it seems at first. There are often little intricacies and twists and turns that start to present themselves over time. The path to the future does not always go in more or less a straight line.

“High Anxiety” – When Miles grows concerned that the God Account is causing a rift with Cara, he decides to walk away from the account after helping one last friend suggestion, Miguel (Elliot Villar), a window washer with a sick daughter, on GOD FRIENDED ME, Sunday, Dec. 8 (8:30-9:30 PM, ET/8:00-9:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network.
This episode is going to be the last one for the calendar year; in other words, this is where you can expect a lot of the drama to hit the fan.
