The Blacklist season 7 episode 10 spoilers: Who’s back for fall finale?

There’s a good chance that you heard already that The Blacklist season 7 episode 10 is going to be the midseason finale. Meanwhile, there’s also a good chance that you heard that it’s entitled “Katarina Rostova.” Both of these announcements are big, and we can add a little bit to it courtesy of the news that we’ve got right now.

Today, NBC released the official The Blacklist season 7 episode 10 synopsis — check that out below:

12/13/2019 (08:00PM – 09:00PM) (Friday) : Red and the Task Force pay a visit to a former blacklister, as an explosive confrontation leads Liz to make a critical choice. Laila Robins, Brian Dennehy, Aida Turturro, Michael Cerveris, Rade Serbedzija, and Brett Cullen guest star.

On the surface, some of the guest stars for this episode are to be expected. Yet, there’s one that stands out perhaps more than any — Rade Serbedzija. Who does he play? Former Blacklist Dr. Bogdan Krilov, a character who excels in the manipulation of memories. This is someone responsible for helping to destroy Liz’s memories about the night of the fire, and we have to imagine that they’re back for a very specific purpose. Have Katarina’s memories been manipulated? What about those of either Ilya Koslov or Raymond Reddington himself? This does add another layer of mystery into a very-mysterious show; we just wonder if this character will need some sort of further introduction. Krilov hasn’t been seen since season 4, so we’re not sure just how much casual viewers will remember him.

Yet, Krilov’s presence is a good sign for those wanting The Blacklist to have a lot of continuity. After all, you’re going to have a chance to see a very familiar face back in the world of the show.
