Where is Deeks on NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 episode 9?
Yet, is there anything to be concerned about here? Not so much. Deeks is off doing official LAPD business within this episode (entitled “Kill Beale: Vol. 1”), which is mostly just odd because there are times we legitimately forget that he is even a part of the LAPD in the first place.

So should you read anything into Deeks not being in the episode? Not at all. He’s still got plenty of work coming up; this is just something that we’ve seen happen here and there on NCIS: Los Angeles this season. Take, for example, the episodes that we’ve had without Hetty, or the arc that we’ve had without Eric Beale as a part of the proceedings. Sometimes, these things happen within this world.
In case you didn’t know, the man behind Deeks in Eric Christian Olsen is going to be even more involved in the upcoming 250th episode — he co-wrote it! We actually spoke with the actor all about that in an interview that is coming up in the days ahead. Let’s just hope that both in this episode, and in some of the others in the weeks/months ahead, we have a chance in order to see the full team in action. Isn’t that what so many of us want down the stretch in season 11? We are okay with tonight being a big spotlight for Eric, mostly because we haven’t seen that character around for a rather long time.
