Legacies season 2 episode 8 spoilers: Christmas episode details!
Anyway, with this being the final episode of the calendar year, it’s obvious that the writers are going to try and throw some big stuff at you. Sure, there will be some yuletide festivities thrown in here, but at the same time we’re going to learn more about Rafael’s past, Sebastian’s present, and then also if there are some larger threats that will reveal themselves further.

IT’S CHRISTMAS IN MYSTIC FALLS – Hope (Danielle Rose Russell) joins forces with an unlikely ally to take down a Christmas monster, who’s using holiday cheer to infiltrate the Salvatore School. Elsewhere, Landon (Aria Shahghasemi) surprises Rafael (Peyton Alex Smith) with news about his family lineage, and Sebastian (guest star Thomas Doherty) accompanies Lizzie (Jenny Boyd) on her latest mission. Kaylee Bryant and Matthew Davis also star. Brett Matthews directed the episode written by Brett Matthews & Hannah Rosner (#208). Original airdate 12/12/2019.
So will there be a big cliffhanger at the end of this? Given what we know about both this show and the overall world, we don’t know how to think anything otherwise. We know that there are some huge things coming a little bit later on this season — think in terms of a whole lotta Kai — so there’s a lot to anticipate coming up. This is a show that’s going to both look back on the era of The Vampire Diaries, while also celebrating the past and where things could be going in the future.
Oh, and maybe this episode will make you crave a peppermint hot chocolate by the time you get to the end of it.
