Blue Bloods season 10 episode 9 sneak peek: Why is Eddie frustrated?
In this scene, you can see Eddie doing her part to vent out some of her frustrations at what has become a rather annoying situation for her — the fact that her boss in Sergeant McNichols is routinely finding so many ways to make her life miserable. That includes her barking orders left and right in a way that Eddie doesn’t want to handle.
Yet, this is where Jamie comes into play! She makes it clear to him that she does not want him involved in what she is going through — even though he is a Sergeant with some authority, him starting to voice his opinion about this isn’t going to do anything to help Eddie out. Instead, it’s probably only going to cause her more problems and she’s aware of that.
In the end, the best advice that he has for her is rather simple — just try to keep her head down and keep fighting. This will ensure that McNichols eventually sees the real Eddie … or so we hope. the obvious fear here is that the Sergeant is doing whatever she can here to advance her career at all costs, even if that means being harsh on other officers. She may even be trying to make an example out of Eddie because of who she is. Anything for her to show that she is tough and formidable … or at least that’s how it seems.
