Outlander season 5: Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe Q&As incoming
In a new post on Twitter, the series confirmed that starting tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. Eastern, you’ll be able to get your questions answered by Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe. How do you submit them? Just respond within the show’s Twitter thread (click this link for a shortcut), and there’s a chance that they’ll be answered in the video. This Q&A session is being done to commemorate the end of season 5 filming this week — this is a reminder that even though the wrap party was held, that doesn’t mean that production is over. There’s a little more work to be done, but this is a way for the cast to get some further perspective on everything that they’ve done this year.
When you think about it, there’s probably some similarity between being a part of a show like Outlander and attending school. Think about it this way — you’re spending around seven or eight months with all of these people you know incredibly well, and then you’re spending the next few months away from them doing other things. Then, you go back and while a lot of things are similar, there are also a few changes.
There is no confirmed shooting date for Outlander season 6 just yet — we’d hope that it would happen at some point in the spring, but that’s mostly up to the studio and the producers to figure out. We hope that no matter when it’s back, the cast and crew have some opportunities to relax and relish in some of their time away. They’ve definitely earned that opportunity, and we’re sure that there will be some other season 5 promotion leading up to the February 16 premiere.
