Supergirl season 5 fall finale promo: Will Lena push the button?
Should she be? That seems to be the latest question that is raised in the promo below for “The Wrath of Rama Khan,” which is coming onto The CW a week from Sunday. This is where Lena may push herself too far, and firing off some Kryptonite laden-cannons that is a move she won’t walk back from. There’s been tension bubbling over here for a while but now, just about everything is coming to a head. There’s conflict between Kara and Lena, sure, but there’s also conflict between Alex and Kara as the two have differing perspectives on what should be done.
Here’s one of the primary questions that needs to be asked here — does Lena being a Luthor preclude her, in one way or another, from doing good things? Does not being a Luthor preclude her from doing bad things? Sure, it’s both a last name and a way of life, but it doesn’t define everything about you. That’s why we think there is a lot of room here still open for guesswork and a lot of interesting discussion worth having. Hopefully, throughout the upcoming episodes we’re going to have a chance to learn a little bit more about this.
Will there be a cliffhanger at the end of the episode? Maybe, but don’t expect it to lead directly into the second half of the season in the new year. Instead, we’d go ahead and anticipate that it would lead somewhat into the upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event, which will also be kicking off next month. There could be a few story remnants from the first half of the season that could play out in the second half, but it’s hard to speculate too much about them ahead of time.
