American Horror Story season 10 premiere date hopes on FX
Let’s start things off, though, with an oh-so-simple reminder that there will, in fact, be a season 10 of American Horror Story airing at some point in 2020. This renewal news was first confirmed a good while ago, and we’ve gotten the sense that are still some ideas that executive producer Ryan Murphy is eager to explore.

With that being said, there is no confirmation that this franchise will stick around forever. We do think that we’re probably nearing the end of its run. Murphy now has an overall deal over at Netflix, meaning that his long-term collaboration with FX may be coming to somewhat of an end. We don’t think the show is slowing down in the short-term, but as for the long-term, we like to think that anything goes…
Insofar as premiere dates go, we’d suggest that you go ahead and write down September 2020 as the likely start time for the series. This just so happens to be what makes the most sense, at least provided that FX still wants to ensure that there is some spooky stuff happening come Halloween time. There’s a lot of ratings momentum that comes up around this particular time.
Odds are, there will be some more news when it comes to American Horror Story season 10 when it comes to the spring. There are going to be some more opportunities to discuss things at that point; thematically, the biggest thing that we want to see is just something creepy, different, and also fun. Don’t shy away from new cast members! After all, that is something that worked well for season 9, which is in our mind one of the best seasons in a while.
