Blue Bloods season 10 episode 8 spoilers: Should Erin trust the Mayor?

Blue Bloods season 10

Next week on Blue Bloods season 10 episode 8, you are going to be seeing an intense installment — especially for Erin Reagan. We’re going to have a chance to learn a lot about the new Mayor of New York City in Peter Chase — not only that, but you’ll also have a chance to see how she reacts to a big opportunity.

Of course, we imagine that one important aspect of this opportunity is knowing this — there often are strings attached anytime someone in power hands you something great.

Below, CarterMatt has the full Blue Bloods season 10 episode 8 synopsis with some other information as to what’s coming up next:

“Friends in High Places” – While Henry works as an investigative consultant for child services, he and Danny butt heads over a case involving a man who is volatile toward his wife. Also, Frank is caught in the middle of an ongoing battle between the NYPD and the FDNY; Erin ponders a life-changing opportunity presented to her by Mayor Peter Chase (Dylan Walsh); and Jamie is suspicious about an investigation targeting Eddie’s partner, Kenneth Troy (Eric Troy Miller), on BLUE BLOODS, Friday, Nov. 15 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Beyond the big Erin storyline, one of the things that we’re most excited about entering this episode is simply seeing Henry take on this new role. We know that he’s not a cop anymore, but all of that DNA is still in him. He’s still probably very useful anytime he investigates anything, and we are always thrilled to have a chance to see Len Cariou shine. It may just be a one-episode story but, in the end, it could prove fun. Seeing him and Danny argue feels fairly par for the course with this show — one way or another, there is going to be some element of conflict with this show and the Reagan family.
