The Rookie season 2 episode 7 spoilers: John & Jessica’s complication

Curious to learn more about The Rookie season 2 episode 7? This is an installment entitled “Safety,” and one that may introduce new dynamics to relationships. Take, for example, what happens when it comes to John and Jessica. These two have endured a little bit already, and things are only going to get a little more interesting from there.

Below, CarterMatt offers up the full The Rookie season 2 episode 7 synopsis — after all, we’ve got more scoop within for what’s coming up:

John and Jessica’s (Sarah Shahi) relationship gets a lot more complicated after she delivers some surprising news. Meanwhile, Officer Bradford and Office West are assigned a community policing project helping out the Watts Rams as volunteer coaches at their fall clinic, along with Rams players Eric Weddle and Robert Woods.

Ironically, next week’s episode of The Rookie is not the only show this season that has featured appearances from Rams players. Earlier this year, Aaron Donald ended up making an appearance over on CBS’ Magnum PI. Consider this one of the merits of being on a football team in Los Angeles! It does give you a chance to explore a lot of different possibilties within the world of entertainment.

By the end of this episode, we should at least have a better sense of where John Nolan’s future stands outside of the world of the police force. Yet, there may still be questions aplenty about what is going to be coming up for him within. He may not be a rookie in the same way that he once was; he’s a little more seasoned now in this world and because of that, you better believe that he’ll be more prepared than he was a year ago. Yet, he is still so green when compared to veteran officers. Bridging that gap through the rest of this season should prove interesting, no?
