NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 episode 6 sneak peek: Sam, Callen’s new ‘friends’

NCIS: Los Angeles

NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 episode 6 looks to be all sorts of entertaining. How else can you describe an episode entitled “A Bloody Brilliant Plan,” and one that will feature some big-name guest stars in Vinnie Jones and Steve Valentine?

Even from the sneak peek below, one thing feels clear: Ricky Dorsey and Frankie Bolton are not the sort of one-time criminals who you are used to seeing on this series. Sure, we’ve seen the LA team work alongside criminals before with a common goal, but not with the same energy as what these two guys have. They’re snarky, and yet at the same time uncompromising. They want what they want and they aren’t willing to cut many corners in order to get it.

For the sake of this episode, Ricky and Frankie are going to be working with the team in order to track down an arms dealer, someone who happens to kidnap Ricky’s daughter along the way. We think that this sentence alone makes it clear why this collaboration is so useful. For Ricky, this is a way in order to ensure that he protects someone he cares about. Yet, at the same time for the team this is a way in order to ensure that they can get some dirty guns off of the streets. It’s a win-win, and despite the personal stakes for these former criminals, we do still think that there will be some humor within this case. That just tends to be the way of things for this show more often than not.
