Blue Bloods season 10 episode 8 spoilers: Henry’s in the field!

Blue Bloods season 10

While Blue Bloods season 10 episode 8 may not be airing until Friday, November 15, there are reasons for advance excitement. Take, for example, getting a chance to see Henry Reagan away from the family dinner table and out doing other things! While we don’t think the character is going to be getting a full-time job again at this point in his life, he is going to be doing his part to help with child services. This is going to be the foundation for this episode, and also the foundation for a conflict that is going to be forming between him and Danny.

Meanwhile, this episode is also going to give you a chance to see (finally!) Dylan Walsh make his debut on the show in the role of Mayor Peter Chase. This is a character who you may have heard about a while back, and unlike some of the other past Mayors we’ve seen on this show, there is a chance that his story is geared a little bit more towards what is going on with Erin Reagan than with Frank. This is Blue Bloods reminding you that there are so many different ways that the Mayor can impact both the police and the District Attorney’s office.

Below, CarterMatt has the full Blue Bloods season 10 episode 8 synopsis — we like to think there’s some good scoop on here for what’s coming beyond what we’ve even said so far:

“Friends in High Places” – While Henry works as an investigative consultant for child services, he and Danny butt heads over a case involving a man who is volatile toward his wife. Also, Frank is caught in the middle of an ongoing battle between the NYPD and the FDNY; Erin ponders a life-changing opportunity presented to her by Mayor Peter Chase (Dylan Walsh); and Jamie is suspicious about an investigation targeting Eddie’s partner, Kenneth Troy (Eric Troy Miller), on BLUE BLOODS, Friday, Nov. 15 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

For those who haven’t heard, Mayor Chase’s “opportunity” for Erin may have a thing or two to do with her making a run at D.A. … the question is just what he is going to want in turn.

What do you want to see when it comes to Blue Bloods season 10 episode 8?
