Magnum PI season 2 episode 7 spoilers: Corbin Bernsen returns!

Next week, there is a lot of interesting stuff to be excited about on Magnum PI season 2 episode 7 — especially when it comes to guest stars! After all, this is where you’re going to see the return of original series star Larry Manetti, plus also Corbin Bernsen back once more as Icepick! There’s a lot going on here for both past and present cast members, and we haven’t even gotten to the point of discussing Lee Majors just yet.

So what is the point of bringing back a lot of these familiar faces? Well, in our mind much of it has to do with the series recognizing the love of nostalgia that is out there for fans of the original Magnum PI plus some other classic shows at the same exact time. These are people who will bring in viewers, though the hope here is obviously that the diehard fans will keep checking out the show regardless of who is in it.

So what is the basis for this series at the moment? Below, CarterMatt has the official Magnum PI season 2 episode 7 synopsis with some additional news now on what’s next:

“The Man in the Secret Room” – While Magnum helps out his friend Russell Harlan (guest star Lee Majors) and temporarily works as the head of a hotel’s security, he investigates the death of a guest who was thrown from her room’s balcony while working on a secret investigation of her own. Also, Icepick (guest star Corbin Bernsen) is released from jail and is trying to keep a secret from Rick, on MAGNUM P.I., Friday, Nov. 8 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Larry Manetti returns and Lee Majors guest stars.

What could Icepick be keeping from Rick? That’s certainly one of the big-time questions that we’ve got at the moment. Also, we kinda want to see what Magnum looks like as a head of security for a hotel. It feels like a cushy job on the surface, given that Hawaii would be full of innocent tourists trying to get away from their problems. Yet, we’ve got a feeling that it’s going to be a lot crazier than anyone would first think on the surface. After all, consider the show we’re watching.
