Outlander notes: More Halloween and behind-the-scenes fun!

Even though yesterday may have actually been Halloween, we don’t think it’s too late yet to commemorate fun things associated with it! (If you love candy and you’re too old to trick-or-treat, today may be the best day of the year — just think about all the discounts in stores!)

For the crew and writers of Outlander, it’s clear that they had a chance to live their best lives over the past few days — we come bearing some photographic evidence!

The first photo HERE comes via the official account for the Outlander writers room, and it features a lot of the staff behind the scenes sporting a wide array of getup’s. Some of these are truly elaborate (the flowers!) — there’s also something that we appreciate about a walking jar of mustard.

Meanwhile, executive producer Matthew B. Roberts shared a new image from the art department, who have proven (no surprise) that they are artistic. There’s some truly fantastic work done in here, whether it be something that feels like a Jack Skellington tribute and then also a glittery pumpkin thrown in. To think, they had time to do this while also still working on the show!

Of course, it’s also not all fun and games on Outlander, as there is still plenty of work being done. Consider the post HERE via Duncan Lacroix’s Instagram as more evidence of that. As you may have heard by now, the final leg of production is currently being worked on, and based on everything we’re seeing and hearing right now, they should be wrapped by the middle of the month.
