Supernatural season 15: Jared Padalecki’s arrest won’t impact show
This incident took place far away from where the CW series films in Vancouver, yet Jared is still expected to be there alongside the rest of the cast filming the final season. Will everything continue as planned? For the time being the simple answer to that is “yes.”
According to a new report coming in from TVLine (which cites a source close to production), the current plans for the remainder of Supernatural remain unchanged. Yet, there is no guarantee that this will remain that way. This is an ongoing process, after all, and we are only days following the much-reported incident.
Padalecki is in the midst of a time of great transition. As of next year, the job that he’s had for the majority of his adult life will be over. Meanwhile, he has already signed on to do a new version of Walker, Texas Ranger entitled Walker — the project had been picked up by The CW for development. Yet, there is no guarantee that it will be picked up to series. There is no word as to whether or not this arrest will impact what is going on there, but it’s also difficult press to have around a project that a network can do away with rather easily, at least as opposed to something that is actually on the air.
As for Supernatural on TV, the series is on hiatus this Thursday because of Halloween, and it will return the following week in order to finish out airing its latest batch of episodes. You can get some more news surrounding what is coming up over at the link here.
