NCIS: New Orleans season 6 episode 6 return date for Scott Bakula, cast
We do need to kick things off further, though, with a rather unwelcome dose of bad news — there is no new episode of the CBS show next week. The reason for this is simple in that there aren’t any new episodes coming up on CBS for the night — no NCIS, no FBI, and also no NCIS: New Orleans to go along with it.
So what is going to be coming up next? Presumably, NCIS: New Orleans is going to be coming back on Tuesday, November 5, but at the moment CBS has not confirmed much of anything here. Oddly, they also haven’t released an official synopsis for it just yet. That may come out a little bit later in the week.
What we are expecting to see on some level is a continuation of the Lasalle arc tonight — at the end of the episode tonight, we did see Lucas Black’s character try to hunt down his brother’s killer. Unfortunately, he couldn’t get a clear answer. While someone did confess to the killing, it feels clear that this said someone is a little low on the food chain. He’s the sort of guy who confesses just so that no one higher up will have to. What this means is that someone else is out there.
Is it possible that NCIS: New Orleans keeps this storyline going for a while, and doesn’t even bring it up next week? Sure, mostly because there’s no real reason for them to rush back into it if there are some other things they want to get to. Given that this is a case-of-the-week mystery, we have a hard time thinking all that much that it’s going to change form entirely. It will more than likely continue to juggle some things at the same time.
