The Affair season 5 episode 11 spoilers: First series finale details!
Showtime has already released the full description for this episode, and while it doesn’t give a lot away, it certainly does enough to raise a few eyebrows: “It’s Whitney’s wedding day and everything comes full circle. Series finale.”

If there is some more good news to report on in regards to the series finale, it’s this — Whitney’s wedding seems to be full steam ahead, judging from the way that Sunday’s episode came to a close. She admitted to Colin what happened with Furkat earlier this season, but also made it clear that she didn’t love him. She was worried that Colin would be heartbroken and walk away, but he wasn’t. He still loves her and wants to be with her … even to the point where he’s willing to stay in America despite his distaste for it.
So while Whitney’s love life may be secure, the rest of the family around her could be in tatters. Noah’s past has completely come back on him, and that means problems aplenty are floating around out there. Think in terms of how it is impacting the family already, let alone how it could be hurting them by the time this comes around. With situations like this, there is almost always a rock bottom … and we’re not sure that he has really hit it just yet. Things are probably only going to get darker and darker from here on out, at least if our current projections end up equaling reality.
