‘Big Brother’s’ Jessie Godderz makes PEC-Tacular TNA IMPACT Wrestling debut

We don’t really get that many opportunities to write about “Big Brother” or its various stars during the offseason, with one of the primary reasons for that being that there really is not that much typically to talk about. However, a certain muscular figure is changing that courtesy of some of his first appearances on Spike TV’s TNA IMPACT Wrestling: Mr. PEC-Tacular himself Jessie Godderz, who has the rare distinction of literally being a part of all the past five seasons in some shape or form.

We will start things off here by saying that we’re not too well-versed in the wrestling world, but we do already love the way in which Jessie is being introduced to the IMPACT audience as a part of a “Hollywood couple” with Tara that is completely ridiculous and over-the-top. Most of Jessie’s humor over the years, and one of the reasons why he is a great TV personality, is that he knows that his “holy cow, I look good” shtick (no one since Ron Burgandy has been so narcissistic) really works, and he plays it up like nobody’s business. We also know that the guy has wanted to be in wrestling ever since the first two “Big Brother” seasons that he actually took part in as a houseguest.

We won’t say too much more about what he is up to, since the videos really speak for themselves. There’s not too much of Jessie actually wrestling here, but there is a suggestion made that he may be doing so (against a rather surprising opponent, no less) in the future. However, there is plenty of Jessie comedy, as the clips we have span from the past two weeks. At the end of the day, we’re happy for the guy since he’s clearly worked hard for this and, despite all of the name-dropping of the show in the segments, we know he didn’t get to where he is by just saying that he is a “Big Brother” superstar.

Hopefully, Jessie will make a great career out of this … though we also selfishly want him to continue to be in Pandora’s Box every year to keep that hilarious tradition alive. Yes, he’s polarizing, you can’t deny that you would miss him if he was gone.
