Coming up on NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 episode 3 on Sunday, Sam and Callen are going to be tasked with quite a difficult mission — do whatever they can to protect retired Admiral Kilbride.
So what are Deeks and Kensi going to be up to during this case? Let’s just say that they’re going to have their hands full in their own rather-unique way. In the sneak peek below from Sunday night’s new episode, you can get a good sense of what we’re talking about here as they learn that they’re spending a little bit of time babysitting — or rather, making sure that a guy Kilbride has tied up doesn’t go anywhere.

Wouldn’t it be nice if Deeks and Kensi actually had a substantial amount of information about who they’re looking after? It sure would, but unfortunately, that doesn’t seem like something that is altogether possible for them. Whatever Kilbride is up to isn’t something that he wants to share a lot of details about, and Deeks’ response to seeing the tied-up man is one of two really great reactions that he has within this sneak peek. The other is when he sees Callen and Kilbride in the room in the first place and ponders whether or not he is about to be sold some sort of timeshare.
Rest assured, this episode will be giving you some of the funny NCIS: Los Angeles banter that you’ve come to appreciate from this series … with a little bit of other great stuff crammed in here and there as well. Expect some action, and for whatever is going on with Kilbride to not be resolved altogether easily. Few things are within the world of this show and there could be shootouts aplenty. After all, isn’t there a reason that he wanted to have Sam and Callen on board as the muscle?
