NCIS: New Orleans season 6 episode 3 sneak peek: Pride’s cold case

NCIS: New Orleans

What’s coming up on NCIS: New Orleans season 6 episode 3? Think in terms of a blast from the past! Through “Bad Apple,” we’re going to be seeing Dwayne Pride go to New York City in order to pick up on the murder of Ashley Griffin — a case that stems back decades to an early point in his career.

So how does Pride find out about this case in the first place? This is ultimately the focus of the sneak peek below, where Wade comes in to tell Pride about a collaboration she’s doing with the NYPD about the old case. It’s a chance for the two parties to reminisce about old times, but also share an update as to what’s going on with the case.

In the end, what we have here is some more insight as to why Pride is going to New York — and then, in the aftermath of why, another reason why he is eager to make the trip. Think about what happened at the start of the season, as Pride was forced to cut back on some of his travel plans so that he could take care of matters back in New Orleans.

We know that Laurel is going to be a part of this upcoming episode, and the photo above is proof of that. As for how big of a role she plays, that remains to be seen — we just know that Pride probably wants to be connected to all parts of his life. He’s gone through a lot lately and, to go along with it, his life has been on the line. We think that family did always matter to him, but with that being said, he may have a deeper perspective and understanding than ever.

In the end, this episode is going to prove to be a great one for the sake of seeing something a little different — it’s still NCIS: New Orleans, just in a different city … for at least a part of it. Rest assured that there will still be some Big Easy flair for you to watch and enjoy throughout.
