The Flash season 6 trailer has Ramsey Rosso, Crisis fears, & Jay Garrick

Flash season 4

Today, The CW released the latest The Flash season 6 trailer and this one just so happens to be jam-packed with all sorts of content. You’ve got a good dose of villainy in here, but also some fears of future villainy at the same time.

Through almost everything, there is a major threat that is looming — a Crisis, if you will. The Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover will be coming this December, and for the first batch of episodes, you’ll see Barry confronted with his mortality more so than he has been to date. He knows what’s coming, and also what there is to be afraid of. With that, he has to prepare the world for a future without The Flash. That means trying to figure out a way in which to get the other heroes ready to take over without him. Given that this trailer features Ralph seemingly at a press conference, maybe he’s starting to get used to this new role.

While there will be a lot of shining moments for heroes, rest assured that there are also going to be some reasons to be afraid. Just think in terms of the villains! The biggest one in the first half of this season is Dr. Ramsey Rosso (Sendhil Ramamurthy), a character who also goes by the alter ego of Bloodwork … or at least he eventually will. The idea of death is going to be a huge component within this season, and that is one of the main things that Rosso is trying to achieve. He’s trying to figure out ways to do whatever he can in order to prolong his life.

Also in here, you get some glimpses of Jay Garrick, someone who looks as though she could be Nora Allen, and then also some great stuff for Killer Frost. Season 6 will have a lot going on, and while there are going to be some darker edges thanks to the major themes of the episodes to come, it’s not going to forget the show that it is. It’s one that has been based on love, heroics, and of course good humor.
