Paradise season 3 spoilers: EP hints at endings ahead

Based on every single thing that we have heard so far, Paradise season 3 is going to be the final one at Hulu. Is that a delightful thing to consider? Hardly, but it does not change the fact that the end is likely near for Xavier and all of these characters.

Now, do we believe that all of these characters are going to survive to the end? Hardly, and we’ve already braced ourselves for the possibility that anything could transpire. Yet, we do tend to think that despite all the trauma and struggles we’ve seen for these characters, there is a way for some of them to make it through.

Speaking in a new interview with Gold Derby, we are at least happy to have some sort of progress report courtesy of executive producer Dan Fogelman:

“We’re a little over halfway through filming … We started filming episode five last week. The scripts are all done, and all of them are being prepped now. So we’re really nearing the end.

“There are characters whose stories are coming to a conclusion — not necessarily because they’re dying … I’m writing a lot of emails wrapping people from the series now, on their last day of filming. So we’re at that stage now.”

We are still sad about the idea that season 3 is going to be the end, and we say that mostly due to the fact that it felt like there was a lot of metaphorical meat still on the bone after what we saw with season 2. Yet, Fogelman pitched star Sterling K. Brown from the start that this was a three-season show and with that, we are moving towards what is a defined beginning, middle, and end.
