‘The Walking Dead’ season 3 spoilers: Laurie Holden teases Governor plot

We’ve been talking about it all week long, but on Sunday night’s new episode of “The Walking Dead,” we are finally going to have an opportunity to see what has made us excited ever since the moment the show was picked up for this year: the arrival of The Governor. In addition to just about every viewer at home, there also happens to be one other person that is surely loving what is going on here: Laurie Holden, who is getting the opportunity to have some of her best material yet on the show courtesy of Andrea moving from Rick’s group to the fools’ gold town that is Woodbury.

So what does Holden say about what you should expect here? The actress spoke out recently to E! News on the subject, and above all else, what she really seemed to stress here is that this is going to be a far different sort of storyline than we have ever seen on the show before:

“It’s going to be unlike anything you’ve seen on The Walking Dead. Andrea’s storyline in many ways I feel like is almost like a spinoff show. [Next episode] is the introduction of Woodbury, and the introduction of many characters, like the Governor, and a completely different world than people have been exposed to before.”

This world is indeed going to be an interesting one, as we know already that it will at least appear relatively normal on the surface. However, this could not be any further from the truth as you start to delve deep into what is really going on here and realize just how blind some of these people truly are to the evil man running the ship.

What do you want to see happen to Andrea as a result of her time in Woodbury?
