The Resident season 3 episode 3 preview: Nic raises questions about Cain

Is Dr. Barrett Cain a good doctor? This could be one of the questions that arises on The Resident season 3 episode 3 on Fox next week, especially after some of his practices start to come to light.

We don’t think anyone should be questioning whether or not Cain has saved lives — he wouldn’t be in this position otherwise! Some of the questions are going to come in terms of how he may look as them as a means to an end. Is Cain trying to take on the hardest surgeries possible, ones that he “can’t lose” since he will come off like the hero no matter what? Or, are we going to see a situation coming up where he ends up alienating all of the staff? These are some things that could come to light and through much of this episode, we’ll have a good opportunity to explore the aftermath of that.

Of course, discovering a thing or two about Cain isn’t the only integral part of this episode! “Saints & Sinners” will be a story where a lot of big, important reveals are brought to light that could get much of the main cast raising an eyebrow.

Meanwhile, Bell pursues a new fiscal venture that may bring him into a whole new market in the all-new “Saints & Sinners” episode of THE RESIDENT airing Tuesday, Oct. 8 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. We’ll admit that we are very much curious as to some of what’s coming with Dr. Bell. Is this the sort of venture that will give him a focus away from the hospital? Anything to explore more of that character’s life is something we will very much get behind.
