9-1-1 season 3 episode 3 promo: Can Christopher be saved?

9-1-1 season 2 episode 2

As we enter 9-1-1 season 3 episode 3 on Fox Monday night, there are going to be more fears of death … and not just in terms of the tsunami.

In the promo that CarterMatt has for you below, you can see the aftermath of the big cliffhanger from Monday night — Christopher is in grave danger and we remain hopeful that, one way or another, we’ll end up seeing Buck can rescue him. We have faith that the producers aren’t going to kill off a kid, but it does still remain a perilous sort of situation for both of them. The waters are deep and there are so many people to save.

So what else is going on here? Rest assured that there are a lot of different issues across the board. Take, for example, what is going on with Athena as she has to ponder some harsh realities amidst some of her rescue efforts. Meanwhile, it looks as though some water is going to mix with gasoline. As a result of that, we’re going to be seeing a situation where a lot of people are swimming in a metaphorical bomb. One wrong move and everything goes boom.

Just when you think that the producers of 9-1-1 couldn’t make this situation any crazier, they are literally pouring gasoline on the whole situation. They haven’t thrown the match in there just yet, but they are pretty darn close to it at the moment.

For those wondering as to how some of these intense water scenes were filmed, it has a lot to do with why Oliver Stark and other cast members were in Mexico. It didn’t have to do with filming specific locations there. Instead, it involved using the water tanks that are present there for various productions. Titanic filmed there many years ago, as did Fear the Walking Dead when they spent some time at sea earlier on in the series’ run.
