‘How I Met Your Mother’ season 8 spoilers: First photo of Joe Manganiello’s return

Are you ready for “How I Met Your Mother” to become just that much more manly? If so, you’ll probably start to swoon (or howl at the moon, if you’re a “True Blood” fan) over the just-released photo from the upcoming seventh episode of the new season. The episode (airing on November 12) is entitled “The Stamp Tramp,” and the it looks already like Marshall is going to have his work cut out for him courtesy of Joe Manganiello, who will be returning to the show (with a beard this time) as his old law-school pal Brad.

Unfortunately, it’s not looking as though this appearance from the character is going to go according to plan, at least per the official synopsis put out by CBS today:

“Marshall recommends his old law school classmate Brad for a job at his firm, but the interview goes awry, leaving Marshall to do damage control with his boss. Meanwhile, Robin helps negotiate Barney’s return to the strip club circuit.”

Manganiello (whose film “Magic Mike” just came out on DVD, for those interested) will not be the only guest star appearing in the episode, as he will also be joined by the likes of  Joe Lo Truglio, who is the second guest-star from the world of “Reno 911!” this season after Thomas Lennon came on during the premiere to take on the part of Victoria’s fiance Klaus.

We know that we are not going to see too much from Brad save from this fall on the show, but we have a feeling that Manganiello will make the most out of his time on screen as always. The actor will be returning to “True Blood” to start filming season 6 early next year.
