Just from the sneak peek below, you can get a good sense that Cain is someone who does love to enjoy some of the finer things in life. For example, he has an interest in fine art, and he likes to admire and procure pieces from the part of the country he is in at a given time. Just from the vantage point of hearing that alone, you can probably go ahead and assume that Dr. Cain is someone who has a history not living in any one place for a long period of time. He probably travels wherever work takes him, and it’s clear that Dr. Bell admires his work enough to meet with him outside of the hospital.
Dr. Cain is an authoritative guy who takes command of a room, likes to make moves regardless of what anyone else thinks, and is incredibly charismatic. He knows how to turn on the charm and just from this meeting alone, it’s clear that he’s got a lot of power and isn’t afraid to wield it however possible. He shows Dr. Bell from the get-go here just how impressive he can be, and we don’t think that this is any mistake. He wants Bell to know that is someone worth coveting and someone who could be a huge player at Chastain.
As for whether or not his presence at the hospital ends up being a good or bad thing for it, that’s what we’ll have to watch out for. We don’t doubt his talent, but will he put himself over patients?
