‘The X Factor’ USA: First photos of Emblem3, Carly Rose Sonenclair, top 16

Now that “The X Factor” has actually unveiled its top 16 contestants, we now have something else that is to us rather exciting and worth sharing: the full glammed-up promotional photos of the contestants who will be performing beginning with the live show on November 1.

Personally, we love these photos in that they give us a better sense of what each singer wants to be more so than the cheesy shots we see with “American Idol” that are a little bit more “family show” oriented and less about style and edge. We won’t go through all of them, but we do have some personal favorites of the bunch.

Tate Stevens – This just screams “I am a country singer. Here me roar.” It’s classic, and it’s thus perfect.

Lyric 145 – This photo looks like it is straight out of “In Living Color” meets “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” and we love it for that reason.

Willie Jones – See above, and then apply it to Willie’s hair.

CeCe Frey – You may not like her, but this screams “pop star” more than any of the other ones here.

Emblem3 – We just love the angles on this shot that make this group feel natural, and not some forced boy band.

Jennel Garcia – Yes, she’s still messing with her hair.

Carly Rose Sonenclair – Our personal favorite of the teenagers, mostly because it really screams youth, playfulness, and also personality. At the moment, Carly Rose may very well be the favorite to win this whole competition.
