Is Snowfall new tonight on FX? Early season 4 expectations

Snowfall season 3

Is Snowfall new tonight on FX? Within this article, we’ll do our best to answer that! Not only that, but we’ll also look ahead towards the future of the franchise.

Let’s kick things off with the bad news, if you did miss it yesterday — there is no new Snowfall episode airing on FX tonight. Want to know the reasoning behind that? It’s quite simple — it all comes down to the fact that last week was the finale, and we think the writers rather appreciated the way in which that batch of episodes concluded. It allowed them the chance to set the table for what could be a really different season 4, one with Franklin in a totally new position.

Based on what we saw in those closing minutes, our expectations for the future are a little bit as follows — we’re going to be seeing Franklin work for the federal government, but not so much to suddenly become some sort of loyal soldier. Instead, the idea here is that he is going to have an opportunity to leverage his position to get a jump on everyone else — he’ll be able to run things from the inside, which is both an intelligent and effective place to when the dust settles.

Snowfall season 4 probably is not going to premiere until we get around to 2020 — more than likely the summer. Until that time, just continue to spread the word about the show! The more that the promotion gets out there, the more that we’re going to see great ratings. We don’t think that this is a show that will be around for the next ten or so years, but we do think that there is a little bit of life to the show yet. That’s great news for us as viewers, but it’s probably bad news for these characters since there is that tendency for a lot of important people to die on this show — time and time again.
