The Good Doctor season 3 episode 2 spoilers: Shaun gets advice
At this point, it’s too early to tell if Shaun and Carly are going to be together long-term — all we know is that the first date featuring these characters may not have gone altogether well. Shaun will be dealing with whatever aftermath there is within this episode, while also asking some advice for those close to him as to whether or not he can fix any problems he created.

As Dr. Marcus Andrews vows to help a good Samaritan who was injured while stopping a sexual assault, Dr. Audrey Lim faces a difficult decision when a young patient’s parents suspect that Dr. Neil Melendez made a mistake. Meanwhile, Dr. Shaun Murphy fields advice following his disastrous date with Dr. Carly Lever; and Dr. Claire Browne gets a surprise visit from her mother.
When it comes to the patient-of-the-week stories, the most interesting part of it to us comes via Dr. Lim and Dr. Melendez. As you know already, the two have a romantic history at this point; yet, their dynamic is going to be likely changed by the fact that they are now together. Does it make it harder for Dr. Lim to come down on him, or is it easier for Dr. Melendez to pawn off responsibility?
