Is this an episode that will introduce a long-term story for the season? We’re not able to go there. Yet, at the same time we do think that this is an episode that should at least give you more insight into the sort of stuff that weighs heavily on Pride’s head at all times. We do think that he tries to live in the moment — you have to when you think about his job. If he was to dwell too much on the past, he fundamentally wouldn’t be able to get anything done. It just wouldn’t be possible! Yet, he’s able to do a whole lot more since he is capable of looking ahead. Yet, within this episode he does get a chance to look back at some of what he’s done before because he’s given an opportunity to do so.
We would almost certainly love to see more of these CBS shows travel to various locations if given an opportunity to do so. It’s mostly about getting a chance to be able to consistently do that and having the budget for it.
