Fear the Walking Dead season 5 episode 13 video: Logan flashbacks
What do we know about this guy? Well, he’s been positioned as a possible Big Bad, a guy who is doing whatever he can to find the oilfield. He’s been presented as an opposition to Alicia, Morgan, and the rest of the gang, and at the end of this past episode, it seemed like his mission was achieved.

In the opening minutes for Sunday’s new episode (which we have for you below to watch via Entertainment Weekly), we flash back to when Logan was working with Polar Bear under the name Desert Fox, where he was eager to do the very thing that the show’s main characters are doing now — help people. He got a distress call from a woman named Serena and after he couldn’t get ahold of Polar Bear to help out, he decided to spring into action himself. He drove his truck until it was out of gas and soon after that, he ran the rest of the way. Unfortunately, he couldn’t get there fast enough — Serena is dead and in the aftermath of it, he was distraught.
This is where some new arrivals enter the world of the show — a group of people on horses, claiming that they want to help. Their leader seems to be someone named Virginia, who claims that she wants the same thing Logan does — only “bigger and better.” Could these people be playing him, or be responsible for turning him to a perceived dark side? No matter who they are or what they’re doing, it’s clear at the moment that Logan was at one point very similar to most of the good guys on the show. We like to think that this means he can get back to this place again, but we know better than to draw any big assumptions within this show.
