NCIS season 17 premiere photos: Cote de Pablo, McGee’s search, & more
The image above is one of the latest ones focusing on Cote de Pablo within the premiere, and it’s clear that Ziva is struggling with a lot just from looking at it. We’ve seen photos of Gibbs looking roughed-up already within this episode, and it seems like for a big chunk of this story, we’re going to see her and Gibbs both forced to take on a lot of different issues. It’s going to be a lot that they have to deal with, given that someone seems to want both of them dead. It may be a game of cat-and-mouse for the two of them as they do what they can in order to evade their adversaries – which is saying a lot since we know that Ziva has been in hiding for years to protect her family.
Given the news that is out there now that Cote will be appearing within multiple episodes, there’s a chance that they may not find themselves completely free by the end of the premiere, which is more then fine with us. We have long said that we want to take this as a nice slow ride into Ziva Town and not have everything crammed into the premiere episode.

So what else is going to be happening in the premiere? Judging from this photo of McGee, he’s going to be tipped off that there is some danger at Gibbs’ place, and he wants to make sure that he is okay. Yet, it doesn’t seem as though Tim is aware of all of the events that have transpired since Ziva’s arrival. How much time has passed? He’s wearing gloves, almost to suggest that he is there looking for evidence of something that transpired. His shocked facial expression also raises some questions.
Meanwhile, here you have Bishop doing largely the same thing. She’s got the camera to document a scene alongside the gloves. It’s interesting that there are not many photos of Ziva with any team members other than Gibbs right now, but we’re a little comforted by the fact that there is no hurry now to see those meetings. Because we know we’ve got Ziva now for a little while, we can spread out some of of her story.
