Blue Bloods season 10 episode 1 spoilers: First 200th episode details!

Blue Bloods season 10

Friday, September 27 will mark the premiere of Blue Bloods season 10 episode 1 — and it’s far from your standard first episode of the season. This is the 200th episode, and a chance to commemorate everything that the show has done to date. We imagine that “The Real Deal” will celebrate everything that the crime drama has done, while also offering up something new, as well as some twists, and turns to be excited about. It’s another entry in the next phase of these characters’ lives.

Below, CarterMatt has the just-released Blue Bloods season 10 premiere synopsis with news as to some of what’s coming next:

“The Real Deal” – Danny and Baez grapple with a year-old homicide investigation brought to their attention by Maggie (Callie Thorne), the medium who previously helped them solve a case. Also, Frank looks for a way to help his ex-partner Lenny Ross (Treat Williams) when his daughter is arrested; Jamie and Eddie go apartment hunting; and Erin faces off against a cold-blooded defense attorney from her past, on the 10th season premiere of BLUE BLOODS, Friday, Sept. 27 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

As you can tell just looking at this alone, there’s a LOT here to unpack. For example, learning a thing or two about why Maggie is coming back onto the show — it has to do more with a case, seemingly, than anything else. Also, isn’t watching Jamie and Eddie go apartment-hunting going to be entertaining in its own right? We haven’t really had a chance to learn a lot about what their specific stories will be this fall and this gives us a small sense of it. Oh, and we imagine that this is proof that we’re not going to be seeing any more of the wedding ceremony, despite of a number of fan complaints over the finale.

When it comes to Frank, there’s one thing we know more than anything else: Lenny’s return always equals trouble.
